The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Korea, in common with the Administration of the Chungcheongbuk-do Province, the Chungbuk Economic Forum and the Kyrgyz company BGlobal, organized an international business forum with the participation of Kyrgyz and Korean entrepreneurs.
The key topic of the event was the effective development of economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and South Korea.
During the forum, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea, Aida Ismailova, made a presentation about the investment, export and tourism potential of the Kyrgyz Republic. She drew attention to the fact that the creation of a favorable investment climate is one of the strategic directions and a priority for the long-term development of the Kyrgyz Republic. Taking into account the high performance of the Republic of Korea in the transition to a Green Economy, which is one of the important tools for ensuring sustainable economic development, she expressed interest in jointly implementing investment projects in the field of the Green Economy on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Following the forum, the parties actively discussed the possibility of cooperation in such key areas as the development of cities and regions, energy, agriculture, mining and textile industries, transport, tourism and the construction of tourist facilities.
At the same time, within the framework of the visit to the Chungcheongbuk-do Province, a visit was made to the OREON factory, famous for its Choco Pie products, as well as the Jeungpyeong Ginseng Nonghyup factory, specializing in the production of ginseng products.
